Description How funky is this! The notebook is handmade with recycled paper, and with upcycled waste paper bags for covers… You know those clunky and chunky brown bags some shops offer these days? Great initiative, if I may add, to offer the paper bags, but it is not very practical to reuse due to the rigidity and size, so it often gets thrown away after a single use. Instead of letting the bags go to waste, the Upcycle team has intercepted it from going to landfill and made these quirky and characterful books! Even maize and wheat flour bags can be used, it all depends on what waste is available at the time. Each notebook is unique and hand-made by a small team of local creatives. Green stationary at its best – upcycled, recycled, biodegradable, compostable, recyclable, and supporting local jobs! We ship whatever covers we have available at any given point in time, but if there is a particular print you like (as per product photos), please include that in the order notes and we’ll see what we can do, but no promises.
