Description This yoga mat bag does just what the name says: carry your yoga mat around to class, to gym, or wherever – in genuine South African shwe-shwe, for that lekker local look! It’s somewhat special though, because it is made from waste materials. The shwe-shwe is sourced from factory off-cut waste, and the lining is made from block-out curtain fabric factory waste. What a great way to keep corporate trash out of landfill! The bags are made as part of a community upliftment project – where unemployed women are trained to sew to earn a living, while learning how to repurpose waste in a meaningful way. It’s not only sustainably made, but it is also a very practical and functional design, with a long zip to easy insert and remove the yoga mat. It is also very roomy, to fit even thick yoga mats.
