Made of a thin metal. Color is black but you could spray paint them any color you wanted. Counterbalanced to keep proper time. Will fit on all regular battery clock movements with an ‘I’ shaft. Your movement must have a high torque motor to run these hands. Hour hand has a round hole and minute hand has an oblong hole. The measurement given is the minute hand only from the center of the mounting hole to the end (tail is not included).
