Description Each candle’s fragrance is created from a blend of essential oils which are soft and gentle. They do not have an intense smell as these botanical scents are naturally light and are free from chemicals and artificial fragrances. The essential oil benefits in the candles are released into the air as the candle burns, even if you cannot smell them intensely. Being entirely natural, with an organic hemp wick, soy wax and coconut oil, it is not only more sustainably procured in that they are renewable resources, but it also burns much cleaner than conventional petroleum-based paraffin wax. The combination of oils also cleans easily with soap and water – no messy globs everywhere. Per volume, it also burns longer than conventional paraffin wax. But since soy is a very soft wax, it needs to be inside a container. Msulwa Life has specifically chosen glass containers, to minimise plastic use. The containers come with handy lids, so you can seal up the candle in between uses, and also re-use the jar afterwards. It makes a fantastic and special gift! These beautiful, locally handmade, varnished wooden coasters bring an extra piece of nature to your candle experience. It thermo-isolates the bottom of the glass jar from the surface beneath – a good thing on a cold night! They are the ideal size for the base of these glass jars at an approximate diameter of 8-9cm. Directions for use: Leave sufficient space between candles and other objects. Place it on a coaster to prevent heat damage to the surface below. Let it burn for at least an hour at a time, to prevent tunneling. Close the lid after blowing out the candle, to help preserve fragrance. Do not let the flame burn down to touch the glass, or the glass will crack.
