Description A South African iconic fabric, with a sustainable twist diverted from landfill, a creative local team dedicated to low-impact living, and a utilitarian appeal to reduce single-use plastic shopping bags – what do you get when you combine all these factors? A stunning, affordable and earth-friendly shopping tote, that looks so good, it could double as a beach bag! The fabric is light yet strong, it folds easily so it’s easy to carry around, and it is machine washable (an important factor, when considering a reusable bag!) It consists of clothing factory waste off-cuts, diverted from landfill. The specific materials are poly-cotton or pure cotton shweshwe inserts, alongside pure unbleached cotton tops and straps. Note the colours and motives are completely random, being made from waste there is little standardisation of colours and each item is unique.
